A lovely location with fantastic staff who go above and beyond! Enjoyed the free parking after 6 PM and a cozy, well-furnished double room. Even with the lack of breakfast services, the recommendations for nearby dining were excellent. Perfect for a short stay, especially for events at Froyle Park!

The cozy and quirky room designs offered a unique charm, making the stay feel personal and inviting. I particularly enjoyed the vibrant nightlife, especially the live music and the large outdoor beer garden that created a lively atmosphere.
The noise from the bar was quite excessive, particularly on weekends, which definitely impacted sleep quality. I also found the lack of breakfast options frustrating, considering there was no food service before noon. The common areas could use some tidying up, and the shower temperature was only mildly warm. Parking in the nearby carpark seemed overpriced, and navigating around during busy events can become challenging due to crowding.

I had such high expectations but was utterly shocked by the horrendous noise from the bar. what’s with no breakfast service before noon? with just a teeny request for a room upgrade, i might have considered giving them a good review, but nope, just couldn’t. absolutely dismal experience overall, very disappointing.

A cozy stay near the market
My stay felt welcoming from the moment I checked in, helped by genuinely friendly staff. The charming decor made my room inviting, and the view over the vibrant town square added a perfect touch.
I faced a bit of disappointment with the shower’s lukewarm water.

There was a lot to love about The Market Hotel. The room was lovely, well furnished, with a big white fluffy bed that provided possibly the best night's sleep ever. The communication and helpfulness of the staff made our arrival smooth, and access to our room was easy, even after hours.
I couldn't work out how to get WiFi.
